Madison Island’s “Try Before You Buy” policy lets customers experience products before fully committing to a purchase. Here’s how it works:
-
Order Placement: Customers select items online and opt for the "Try Before You Buy" program at checkout. A temporary hold is placed on their payment method, but no charges are made initially.
-
Receive and Try On: Customers receive the items at home and have a specified trial period (typically 7–14 days) to try them on, decide on fit, style, and suitability, just as they would in a physical store.
-
Decide to Keep or Return:
- If they love the item(s): Customers can keep whatever they want, and Madison Island will finalize the charge on those items.
- If they want to return: Items can be sent back within the trial period, and Madison Island will provide instructions for an easy return process. Items must be in their original condition, unworn, with tags attached.
-
Final Billing: After the trial period ends, Madison Island will charge the payment method on file only for the items the customer kept.
-
Policy Notes:
- Items returned past the trial period may incur charges, or the policy might no longer apply.
- Damaged or excessively used items might not be eligible for a full refund.
- Shipping and return costs may vary based on the customer’s location and Madison Island’s policy.
